Conservation restoration of the Church of the Augustinians in the historic center of Scorrano, with interventions on facade and bell tower, adaptation of plant and protection systems against atmospheric events.
The restoration has provided for the cleaning and recovery of the stone surfaces, with attention to the decorative elements and material consistency of the facade. The bell tower has been consolidated through conservation interventions that have restored its architectural readability, in full respect of the original stylistic language.
In addition to the architectural recovery, the intervention has provided for the remaking of the electrical system, deteriorated over time. The regulatory adaptation has improved the efficiency and safety of the structure, preserving its integrity and ensuring reliability in a historical context.
An important technical element was the installation of a system for capturing atmospheric discharges, installed on roofs, bell towers and bellows. A fundamental solution to protect the stability of the building and ensure the safety of those who frequent it.
The restoration of the Church of the Augustinians represents an exemplary intervention that combines technological innovation and protection of historical heritage. A project that gives back to the community an identity place, renewed in function and preserved in value.
