The redevelopment of the Pope John XXIII Institute in the urban center of Ceglie Messapica includes the treatment of facades, the sealing of the solar pavement and the replacement of fixtures, With the aim of improving comfort and well-being at school through greater energy efficiency.

Renovated school in the heart of Ceglie Messapica

In 2014, the Papa Giovanni XXIII School was renovated and maintained in the heart of a residential area built between the 1970s and 1980s. With its three-level U-shape layout, the building was at the heart of a public building project to improve its functionality, safety and urban integration.

 

Protected facades and guaranteed durability

The treatment of the facades included structural consolidation, water-repellent application and renovation of the coatings, improving aesthetics and resistance to atmospheric agents. Particular attention was paid to the sealing of the solar pavement, a key element to protect the structure from infiltration and degradation.

 

Energy efficiency and school welfare

The replacement of external fixtures has introduced solutions with high energy and acoustic efficiency, improving comfort and quality of environments. An intervention that strengthens the security and reception of the school, highlighting the strategic role of school buildings in the social and cultural growth of the territory.
